The shape of the coat of arms (municipal website) shape is reminiscent to the coat of arms from the Fojnica Armorial, an alleged 14th century roll of arms preserved in the Fojnica monastery.
The escutcheon includes a bend with two white triangles above it and below the bend a white wavy bend ensigned with a yellow star, probably representing river Prača and the location of the place in it. The two triangles would probably stand for the two mountains around it, Jahorina and Romanija.
