Introduction

The municipality of Pedro Rodríguez (221 inhabitants in 2009, 1,408 ha) is located in the north of the Ávila Province.

Description

The flag and arms of Pedro Rodríguez, designed by Vicente Tocino Letrado and Tomás Rodríguez Peñas, are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 14 March 2006 by the Municipal Council, signed on 12 September 2006 by the Mayor, and published on 26 September 2006 in the official gazette of Castile and Leon, No. 186, p. 18,052. The symbols are described as follows:

Municipal flag: Rectangular flag with proportions 2:3, made of two equal vertical stripes, at hoist white with three wavy blue stripes, at fly green with a white eradicated pine.

Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Gules two keys argent per saltire, 2. Argent three pines eradicated vert 2 + 1, grafted in base wavy azure and argent. The shield surmountedby a Royal crown closed.
