Flag of Grubišno Polje

The symbols of Grubišno Polje are described in Article 4 of the Town Statutes Statut Grada Grubišnog Polja, adopted on 2 February 2006 by the Town Assembly, although adopted earlier.
Article 5 of the current Town Statutes Statut Grada Grubišnog Polja (text), adopted on 29 June 2009 by the Town Assembly and published in the Town official gazette Službeni glasnik Grada Grubišnog Polja, No. 6, more or less repeats the description of the symbol.
So does Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi Grada Grubišnog Polja, adopted on 22 October 2009 by the Town Assembly and published in Službeni glasnik Grada Grubišnog Polja, invalidating a previous, undated Decision.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, dark blue with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Vert a jousting helmet manteled gules and or, issuant from it a virgin clad gules with wings displayed or and crowned of the same.".
The Statutes claim that this is the historical coat of arms of the town, but there is no other confirmation for this.
