The flag is in proportions 1:2, blue with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Azure a 'snowflake' cross argent above a boat or".
These charges symbolically represent the local feast of Mary ad Nives (Our Lady of Snow, Gospa Snježna) that has been celebrated on 5 August uninterrupted since almost 500 years. In the main procession the statue of the Virgin is transferred from the local church to a chapel by boat.
