Presentation of Križ

The municipality of Križ (lit., "Cross") is located some 25 km southeast of Zagreb and some 5 km south-east of Ivanić-Grad. Until 1997, it was part of the Sisak-Moslavina County. Population is around 7, 000.

The coat of Arms used by the municipality, apparently from quite some time possibly since around 1997, is an unheraldic device combining elements of lowland landscape, the church belfry tower from the main village, and an oak leaf.
