The flag used in Videm is green with the municipal coat of arms in the middle.
This flag is unofficial; the municipal Statutes Statut občine Videm (text), adopted on 13 March 2007 and published on 19 March 2007 in the official local gazette Uradno glasilo slovenskih občin, 7/2007, does not describe the symbols, left for a separate Decision. The previous municipal Statutes (text), adopted on 23 February 1999 and published on 25 March 1999 in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 18/1999, included the same provision. So did the Amendments to the even older Municipal Statutes Spremembe in dopolnitve statuta Občine Videm, adopted on 18 February 1997 and published in Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 23/1997.

Rejected flag of Videm, horizontal and vertical versions - Images by Željko Heimer, 19 October 2002
The flag proposed by Valt Jurečič of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images were made, were rejected by the municipality.
The flag is horizontal, in proportions 2:5, green with a square panel in the middle containing the bridge from the coat of arms.
