Official flag of the Flemish Bloc

The flag of the Flemish Bloc is as follows:

• upper half: yellow field with a black Flemish lion (no red tongue or claws - the independence movement uses an all-black lion, whereas the official Flemish lion has a red tongue and claws).
• lower half: black field with the Dutch colours on it. (thus, in fact, five horizontal stripes: black, orange, white, blue, black).

On the white band, there is the name of the party Vlaams Blok in black and on the lowest black band the name of the province or section in white, e.g., AFD. AALST (section Aalst).

Other flags of the Flemish Bloc

The BRTN (Flemish public TV) news reported a meeting of the Vlaams Blok, a Flemish nationalist party who wants an independent Flanders (including Brussels). There were two sorts of flags side-by-side: yellow with a black lion, and a logo on a white field.

Although the flag with the logo probably is not the party flag, on stage there were as many logo flags as the real party flags.
