Description of the flag

Bierbeek (9,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Leuven.

The flag is: Argent, a fess Gules, accompanied by three escutcheons (2:1) Sable, a lion rampant Or, armed and tongued Gules. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 13 October 1987.
