Description of the flag

Lochristi (17,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Ghent. The city was founded in 1295 as Loe Sancti Christi, (Lo = forest).

The flag is: Quartered Argent and Azure, in the heart a quintefoil Gules and Or. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 17 November 1987.
