Description of the flag

Maarkdal (6,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Oudenaarde.

The flag is: Party per fess, Sable, Or and Vert, a chevron Gules all over. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 10 March 1987.
