Meulebeke (11,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Tielt.

The flag is: Or, a bear passant Sable. Proportions are 2:3.

The bear is a canting symbol for the De Beer family, Lords of Meulenbeke from 1655-1793.

The flag was adopted on 2 September 1985.
