Description of the flag

Vleteren (3,600 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Ieper. Vleteren has a municipal partnership with the French city of Flètre, located near Steenvorde, in the departement of Nord.

The flag is: Gules, a fess shifted in ten pieces Or, accompanied by three six-pointed stars 2:1 Or. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 10 March 1987.
