Description of the flag

Jemeppe-sur-Sambre (17,300 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Namur.

The flag is: Party per bend sinister wavy, Argent and Gules, I charged with an inescutcheon Gules, a chevron Argent, accompanied in each corner with a quintefoil Argent. Proportions are 2:3

The flag was adopted on 29 May 1996.
