Commander of the Fleet

[Canada - Flag for a Commander of the Fleet]
by Graham Bartram

This if the exception to the post flags. It is the flag of the commander of one of Canada's two fleets. The flag has the same shape as a Commodore's flag (the holder is of Commodore's rank) but unlike the other flags has a red cross positioned to line up with the swallowtail indent. In the canton is a single red maple leaf emblem. This flag forms the basis of the Fleet Commander's badge.
