[SN Grau-du-Roi]by Ivan Sache

Le Grau-du-Roi is a small harbour of ca. 4,000 inhabitants located on the Mediterranean sea, The city is located on the channel linking the former royal saltern of Aigues-Mortes to the sea. Such a channel is called locally a "grau", thus explaining the name of the city. Port-Camargue is an artificial marina created in 1969.

Artimon agency

[Artimon]by Ivan Sache

Artimon is a French agency which hires and manages sail boats in several marinas of the Mediterranean coast. The agency is mainly based in the marina of Port-Camargue.

Artimon (from Genoese artimone) is the French word for mizzen (both the mast and the sail), whereas misaine (from Italian mezzzana) is used for the foremast and the foresail.

The flag of the Artimon agency is a white triangular flag with a stylized blue A.
