Here is factual info on the flag of the XI. district of Budapest. I stayed in a hotel in this district and there was a festival organized in a park. Four flags were hoisted on the entrance of the park the evening I joined the festival, and I planned to picture them the next morning. Unfortunately, they had been promptly removed. Fortunately, I was given the leaflet promoting the festival. I did not understand a word of it, but was attracted by the portrait of a smiling lady (Mrs. Dr. Juhos Katalin, polgarmester [mayor?]) with the flag behind her. The flag has a white field with a complete border of triangular teeth, apparently alternating red-green-blue-yellow, and a coat of arms in the middle. Below the shield is a scroll with BUDAPEST FOVAROS XI. KERULET. In the coat of arms is the same kind of castle as in the Budapest flag, but with three towers and one gate.

Photo of the flag of the district at <www.bp-xi.hu>. It seems the colours of the wolfteeth are gold-green-blue. Yellow is not really correct. I don't know which is the first colour. I don't know the ratio of the flag. It seems the wolfteeth are equilateral triangles not only isosceles triangles.

Concering Ralf Hatemink site - The correct name of the district is Budapest XI. The district has got some parts of the formerly Buda city (before 1873) and a Albertfalva village (bef ore 1950). Lágymányos is small territory on the bank of the Danube. The common name is the district is Kelenföld. The picture of the CoA is beauiful, but white is silver or grey.
