Our Mission
- The International Democrat Union (IDU) shall consist of Member Parties of the Americas Democrat Union (ADU); the Asia Pacific Democrat Union (APDU); the Caribbean Democrat Union (CDU); the Democrat Union of Africa/African Dialogue Group (DUA/ADG); and the European Democrat Union, which have adhered to the IDU Declaration of Principles.

The current chairman of IDU is John Howard (Liberal Party, Australia).
A photograph of the flag of IDU is shown on the website of a local section of the French party UMP, member of IDU: http://www.ump-vlb.org/general/UMP.htm. The flag is white with the IDU emblem; however, on the flag, the white disk bordered in red forming the background of the emblem is omitted.
