In the last summer I started a campain at Lithuania seeking for their district (raion) flags. One of the answeres was from Panevezys - Banner of Arms since 18 October 1995.

The flag and the coat of arms of Panevezys district (Panevezio rajonas). The flag is drawn by me according to my personal observation. The coat of arms I drew according to the picture from the book: The Heraldry of Lithuania. There is different flag and coat of arms for Panevezys City - red gates with three small towers and larger one rising above them, on afield of silver.
