Description: two equally wide horizontal stripes of yellow and blue.
This flag was not official, but was used as such. The colors are derived from the municipal arms.

Granted 11 Sep 1816. The ship was originally a one-mast peat-ship. (eenmastturfschip). The cause for later elaborations is not known.
